You want light and fast! How does under 3lbs sound.
How about 2.5lbs for the top mount and a couple ounces less for the drop through.
We have been working on this board for over a year now. We have built many prototypes to get to the current board.
Yes it does have a hollow core. This is were the strength of the deck comes from. The deck is carbon fiber and foam with a layer of maple and balsa plugs in the hollow channel where the trucks mount. The deck has some dampaning flex to absorb road vibrations. We wanted to build a great performing strong and fast deck. The concave has a flat base down the middle.
